X publishing with receipt-backed delivery state

Connect once through X's official OAuth flow. Draft in your voice, schedule explicitly, publish with reservations, store successful receipts, and synchronize engagement on demand where supported.

What does the X connection include?

Authorization uses X's official OAuth flow — no password sharing, no scraping. Tokens are encrypted at rest, revocable from the workspace, and a missing or expired connection blocks delivery visibly instead of failing silently.

  • Official OAuth authorization
  • Encrypted, revocable server-side tokens
  • Publish now or at an explicit scheduled time
  • Durable idempotency reduces duplicate risk; ambiguous outcomes require reconciliation
  • Stored receipts; on-demand metric and engagement sync where supported
  • Reply drafts requiring explicit confirmation

How honest is the delivery state?

Completely — that is the design constraint. publishing uses durable idempotency reservations to reduce duplicate risk, and ambiguous provider outcomes stay reconciliation-required instead of being reported as confirmed success. If X returns an error, the post stays failed or reconciliation-required in your queue.

Frequently asked questions

Does PostCopilot need my X password?

No. The connection uses X's official OAuth flow; you authorize on X's own page and can revoke at any time. Tokens are stored encrypted server-side.

Can a retry publish the same post twice?

No. Publishing creates a durable idempotency reservation first; retried requests with the same reservation are recognized and not re-delivered.

Does engagement come back into PostCopilot?

Successful delivery receipts are stored. Metrics, comments, and replies can be synchronized on demand where supported; reply sending requires explicit confirmation.

Can I draft for X without connecting an account?

Yes. Drafting and adaptation work without a connection; connecting X is only required when you want PostCopilot to publish for you.
